Isler Sailing International provides its expertise and direction to a wide variety of organizations:
Founded in 1981, the American Sailing Association (ASA) is an association of sailors, sailing schools, and professional sailing instructors. The backbone of the ASA is its highly regarded educational system which is used by over 100 sailing schools around the United States. Since inception over 700,000 students have received ASA certification. By taking sailing courses (ranging from beginner to advanced) from an ASA certified instructor at an ASA affiliated school – you can be assured of top quality instruction to an internationally recognized educational system. Peter Isler is one of the founders of the American Sailing Association and nearly twenty years later, remains an active advisor and Board Member.
The Sailing Company produces two of the best sailing-related magazines in the world, Cruising World and Sailing World and the highly acclaimed series of NOOD regattas. For over five years, Peter Isler served as Editor-at-Large for Sailing World and is now a regular contributor.
Peter wears the award winning Kaenon Polarized sunglasses for all of his racing. Quite simply these glasses outperform anything out there. The quality of the lenses and polarization enable the wearer to see wind on the water better than any other glasses.
